Ken Peng

Ken Peng is the Investment Strategist for the Asia Pacific region at Citi Wealth Investments. Based in Hong Kong, he is responsible for formulating investment views and strategies for Asian markets across asset classes. He is a member of Citi Wealth’s Global Investment Committee, contributing to the Bank’s asset allocation decisions.
Mr. Peng has 24 years of experience in investment research in the US and Asia. He joins CPB from BNP Paribas, where he was Senior China Economist. Prior to that, he had worked for Citi Investment Research for 11 years. Based in Beijing and Shanghai, he covered China macro investment themes and Asia regional economics. He has also covered the United States economy and markets for Citi Investment Research in New York.
Citi Private Bank’s Strategy team is made up of local strategists based in Asia, EMEA, and the Americas, and is led by the Global Chief Strategist. The team provides insights into key economic, political and market developments, evaluates the risks and opportunities to help form our tactical investment allocation.
Peng was born in Beijing and grew up in the US. He received a BA from Boston College and an MBA from New York University’s Stern Business School.
