About the Programme

Breaking down the barriers

Janus Henderson recognises that returning to the workplace after an extended career break can be challenging. Returners can face barriers to re-entry, such as a lack of opportunities that offer flexible working arrangements, or opportunities that require recent working experience. Here at Janus Henderson, we believe in the potential that Returners can offer, and that’s why we’ve launched a Returner Programme - an initiative designed to support experienced investment professionals back to the workplace. The 8 month programme will offer Returners the chance to carry out key roles within the Investment team, while utilising bespoke learning, coaching, networking and mentoring opportunities. We promote a flexible working policy within Janus Henderson and are open to hiring Returners on such arrangements.

Programme details

The Returner Programme will commence at the beginning of March 2020 and run for 8 months. The positions will be London based (at 201 Bishopsgate). Returners will be competitively paid and have full access to our extensive benefits package. There may also be the opportunity to secure a permanent contract at the end of the programme.

The 3 positions we are recruiting for across the Investment department are as follows:

  • Client Portfolio Manager – Fixed Income
  • Assistant Client Portfolio Manager – Multi Asset and Alternatives
  • ESG Research Analyst – Equities (Sustainable and Responsible Investment)
