Karen Dean, CFA

Karen Dean is a Research Analyst at Janus Henderson Investors, covering the US consumer sector, a position she has held since joining the firm in 2017. Prior to her current role, Karen was a senior global equity analyst at Institutional Capital LLC from 2012. Before that, she was an investment banking analyst with Citigroup Investment Banking from 2007 until 2010. She completed an internship with Citadel LLC while earning a graduate degree from 2010 to 2012.

Karen earned her bachelor of business administration degree with majors in finance, investment & banking, and economics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She received her MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business. Karen holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has 15 years of financial industry experience.
