As part of our ongoing commitment to make improvements to our fund documentation, we are notifying you of changes that have been made to the Janus Henderson KIIDs. These updates are also in response to the updated European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) Q&A on the application of the UCITS Directive.

We are not changing the risk profile or the way the Funds are managed as a result of these updates. You do not need to take any action in response to this notification.

What changes have been made to the KIIDs?

The KIIDs for the Funds will be updated as part of the 2020 annual update and will include the following additional information:

  • Specific fund performance target (not applicable to all Funds).
  • The extent to which a fund is managed with reference to a benchmark and the discretion that an investment manager has in choosing investments for a fund.
  • A brief summary of the investment strategy employed by the investment manager.
  • Updates to the past performance section to show the index, peer group or performance target against that of the fund (not all of these will be applicable for all Funds).

The updated KIIDs will be available from mid-February 2020 (via the usual channels and on our website (www.janushenderson.com). The investment objective, policy and strategy of the Funds will also be updated in the relevant range prospectus to include these additional disclosures in order to more closely align the prospectus with the KIID. This will be completed at the earliest available opportunity.
