Matthew Poterba, CFA

Matthew Poterba is a Senior Analyst at Janus Henderson Investors. He joined the firm in 2026 following Janus Henderson’s acquisition of Richard Bernstein Advisors LLC (RBA). He is responsible for top-down macroeconomic research and thematic analysis supporting portfolio strategy. Before joining RBA in 2014, Matthew was an associate analyst at NERA Economic Consulting, working in the securities and finance practice on valuation and analysis of fixed income and derivative instruments in litigation matters from 2012.

Matthew earned a BA in mathematics and economics from Hamilton College. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has 14 years of financial industry experience.
