Stefan Garcia
Stefan Garcia is Head of EMEA Specialist Sales at Janus Henderson Investors. He joined the firm in 2024, following Janus Henderson’s acquisition of Tabula. He was Chief Commercial Officer at since joining Tabula in 2020, where he was responsible for EMEA client coverage, strategic business development, and sustainability-related initiatives across product development and marketing. From 2019 to early 2020, he was focused on founding and raising working capital from several global family offices for a new sustainability-focused asset management business based in London. From 2016 to 2018, Stefan was global head of distribution at City Financial, a diversified asset manager focused on alternatives with over US$4 billion in assets at peak. Before this, he was a managing director and co-head of distribution for EMEA at Source, which he joined when it was founded in 2009, helping to build it into one of the largest ETF businesses in Europe. Source was purchased by Invesco in 2017. Stefan began his career in asset management with ETF Securities in London in 2005, where he was one of the first employees and helped build the business from inception to US$8 billion in assets. Prior to moving to London in 2003 to complete his MBA, Stefan worked as an associate for Citigroup in Mexico from 1999 to 2000 and as a senior associate for an independent merchant bank in the United States from 2000 to 2002.
Stefan received a BA degree in economics from Brown University and holds an MBA from London Business School. He has 24 years of financial industry experience.
