Zeyu Gao

Zeyu Gao is a Quantitative and AI Research Analyst in the Quantitative Fixed Income Team at Janus Henderson Investors, a position he has held since 2026. In this role, he applies agentic AI for quantamental analysis, trading, and portfolio management to develop AI-driven systematic portfolio strategies. Previously, he was a quantitative analyst in the Global Short Duration & Liquidity Group at Kapstream Capital, a subsidiary of the firm. Prior to joining in 2021, he was as a machine learning researcher at the Australian National University, focusing on natural language processing research and applications. Zeyu began his career as an AI engineer at Intel Corporation.

Zeyu holds a Master of Computing (Advanced) degree from the Australian National University, specialising in machine learning. He has 5 years of financial industry experience.
