Hugo Cryer, CFA

Hugo Cryer is a Client Portfolio Manager at Janus Henderson Investors, a position he has held since 2026. He represents absolute return equity and European equity strategies. Before being promoted to his current position, Hugo was an associate client portfolio manager from 2025. Previously, he was a product specialist from 2022 and a product analyst from 2019. Hugo joined Janus Henderson as a graduate trainee in 2017.

Hugo received a first-class BSc degree (Hons) in business management from Newcastle University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and has 9 years of financial industry experience.
