Janus Henderson Investors is today announcing that Marc Theis will be leading the sales function for Switzerland and Liechtenstein. In his new role, Marc will be responsible for managing the growth and business development in the region, as well as running the team of sales professionals there. Marc will be based in Zurich and report to Ignacio De La Maza, Head of EMEA Intermediary & LatAm.
Marc joined Janus Henderson in 2018 as Sales Director for Germany & Austria and in that time has forged strong relationships with clients and prospects, and has been instrumental in securing large mandate wins for the firm and growing the wholesale and institutional business. Over the past two years he spearheaded the firm’s sales efforts in Austria further increasing the firm’s footprint there. Prior to Janus Henderson, Marc held roles at Bantleon Bank, where he was a Sales Manager responsible for Northern & Central Germany, and he started his career at MainFirst Asset Management. Marc has 11 years industry experience, holds a MSc in International Economics & Finance from the University of Queensland and is fluent in English and German.
