Ruchi Biyani

Ruchi Biyani is Corporate Governance Lead at Janus Henderson Investors, a position she has held since 2024. She is a member of the Responsibility Team’s Responsible Investment and Governance division leading corporate governance, investment team support, and the development of proxy voting policy and processes. Additionally, she is a member of the Janus Henderson Proxy Voting Committee and Deputy Chair of the India Working Group of the Asian Corporate Governance Association. In 2025 in recognition of her stewardship work she was highly commended for the UK Investor Forum’s Simon Fraser Award. Ruchi joined the firm as a responsible investment and governance analyst in 2022. Previously, she worked as a corporate lawyer at Nishith Desai Associates (NDA) from 2008 most recently as head of European practice from 2013. Ruchi began her career in 2006 at HDFC Ltd.

Ruchi est titulaire d’une licence en comptabilité qu’elle a obtenue au Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, d’une licence en droit qui lui a été décernée par le Government Law College et d’un master en finance obtenu à la London Business School. Elle est secrétaire d’entreprise qualifiée et détient le certificat de l’Institut CFA en matière d’investissement ESG. Elle possède 17 an d'expérience combinée dans les secteurs juridique et financier.
