Brighter days ahead for listed property

Whilst the direct real estate market will likely continue in a phase of price discovery in 2023, the listed property sector remains one step ahead. Can the sector’s improved performance continue? We believe it can. Dependable income streams, coupled with vastly improved debt structuring in the years post the Global Financial Crisis and undemanding valuations, may position property equities as favourable portfolio solutions in a period of cyclical weakness.
