Janus Henderson Investors is today announcing the opening of an office in Copenhagen, its first in the Nordics, as the firm continues to grow its presence in the region.
The office will be located in Nordhavn and will act as the regional hub to serve Janus Henderson’s client base in the Nordics.
Janus Henderson established a presence in the Nordics over twenty years ago and in 2022 announced the hire of a local Emerging Market Debt Hard Currency team, comprising long-standing and well-respected portfolio managers Bent Elvin Lystbaek, Jacob Ellinge Nielsen, Thomas Haugaard, and Sorin Pirău, who are all based in Copenhagen.
To mark the occasion of the office opening the firm hosted an event for clients with several Portfolio Managers in attendance in addition to the distribution team supporting the region.
Commenting on the new office opening, Preben Oeye, Head of Nordics said: “Opening an office in Copenhagen will allow us to reach new customers, strengthen existing client relationships and better meet investors’ needs in the region. With a permanent base in the Nordics, our clients will benefit from a more personal and local experience.
