Janus Henderson is today announcing the appointment of Jacob Rowe, as Director within the UK Client Group. Jacob joined the firm on 5 May 2026 and is based in London, reporting to Sam Mettrick, Head of UK Intermediary Sales.
In his new role, Jacob will be responsible for supporting intermediary clients, including wealth managers and financial advisers, across South West England, the Midlands and London.
Jacob brings more than a decade of industry experience, joining Janus Henderson from Franklin Templeton, where he was a Business Development Director for three years working with UK wholesale and intermediary clients. Prior to this, he spent five years at Russell Investments as a Sales Associate Director supporting UK wholesale and European clients across a range of investment solutions. Earlier in his career, Jacob played professional football with Birmingham City FC between 2007 and 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from the University of Worcester.
Jacob’s appointment follows a series of recent senior hires within the UK Client Group, including Anna Roberts, Director UK Client Group, responsible for pension fund relationships, and Jenny Yoe, Head of Consultant Relations reinforcing Janus Henderson’s continued investment in strengthening its UK client and consultant partnerships.
