We are writing to inform you that after more than 38 years in financial services, including 15 years at Janus Henderson, Steve Cain, Portfolio Manager on the Diversified Alternatives team, has retired effective 1 August 2025.
Carlo Castronovo, who has been working closely alongside Steve and David Elms for the last 15 years, will join David as co-Portfolio Manager on the Funds. Carlo has a breadth of experience across many of the Diversified Alternatives team’s investment strategies having worked with Steve in structuring macro positions and portfolio management responsibilities in Event Driven, Price Pressure, Convertible Arbitrage and derivative strategies across asset classes. Carlo has 34 years of financial industry experience and has been a Portfolio Manager on the Diversified Alternatives team at Janus Henderson for 20 years.
David and Carlo are part of a wider Diversified Alternatives team comprising 24 investment professionals. Within this team, portfolio and strategy managers have an average industry experience of 21 years and average firm tenure of 13 years.
