Janus Henderson Investors (Australia) Funds Management Limited (“Responsible Entity”, “Janus Henderson Australia”, “us”, “our”, “we”) is the responsible entity of the Janus Henderson Tactical Income Fund ARSN 130 944 866 (“Scheme”). This notice is to inform investors of an upcoming change to the Scheme’s investment guidelines.

What is changing?
The Scheme has historically implemented its investment return objective by primarily investing into the following underlying fixed interest funds managed by the Janus Henderson Australian Fixed Interest Team (“Team”):

  • Janus Henderson Cash Fund – Institutional (ARSN 127 731 006)
  • Janus Henderson Conservative Fixed Interest Fund – Institutional (ARSN 100 098 271)
  • Janus Henderson Australian Fixed Interest Fund – Institutional (ARSN 100 098 413)
  • Janus Henderson Diversified Credit Fund (ARSN 127 727 431)

From 30 September 2026, the Janus Henderson Sustainable Credit Fund ARSN 662 889 214 (“SCF”) will be added as an additional underlying fund in which the Scheme may invest.

SCF was launched in February 2023 to provide investors with exposure to a diversified portfolio of credit securities issued by companies with robust sustainable practices and/or the potential to enhance outcomes for society or the planet. SCF may be used by the Scheme to gain exposure to the Australian Fixed Interest asset class.

We believe this change will enhance portfolio diversification by adding an additional source of investment grade credit exposure and provide greater flexibility for the Team when selecting investments.

How will this affect the investment strategy?
There is no material change to the Scheme’s overall investment objective, strategy, asset allocation ranges, or risk profile. Existing portfolio limits relating to global high yielding securities and sub-investment grade securities will remain unchanged.

No action is required from investors due to this change.
