Mark Vallon, CAIA®

Mark is a Consultant, Specialist Sales at Janus Henderson Investors. He joined the firm in 2024, following Janus Henderson’s acquisition of Tabula. He was a consultant at Tabula from 2023, responsible for Switzerland and Liechtenstein coverage. Previously, Mark was the deputy head of BlackRock’s wealth client business unit in Switzerland, where he drove the local business development by delivering the firm’s entire proposition in market insights, portfolio analytics, indexing and across actively managed traditional and alternative investment solutions, having initially joined the firm in 2019 as head of wealth Switzerland for the ETF and index investment client business. Before BlackRock, Mark was an executive director and head of Switzerland and Liechtenstein coverage at Source, which he joined in 2012, helping to build it into one of the largest ETF businesses in Europe with over US$25 billion in assets. He also held senior business development positions at Bellevue Asset Management, BNP Paribas Investment Partners, and UBS Wealth Management, where he started his career in 1999, covering private, high-net-worth, and ultra-high-net-worth clients in Switzerland and the UK.

Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from HWZ University of Applied Sciences and a master’s in entrepreneurship from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School. Mark is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®) and has 26 years of financial industry experience.
