Mark Bayley, CFA
Mark Bayley is a Portfolio Manager in the Global Short Duration & Liquidity Group at Kapstream Capital, a subsidiary of Janus Henderson Investors, which acquired Kapstream in 2015. In addition to portfolio management, he is responsible for credit analysis and providing macroeconomic views. Prior to Kapstream, he was with FIIG Securities as head of institutional fixed income from 2018 to 2020 and before that, as head of credit strategy and research from 2016 to 2018. Earlier, Mark was a credit analyst and credit strategist at Aquasia from 2009. Before that, he served as director of credit and structuring at ABN, AMRO from 2007. Prior to that, he held positions as vice president of high yield sales from 2005 to 2007 and vice president of high yield research from 2000 to 2005 at JPMorgan in London. Previously, he was a credit analyst at Commonwealth Investment Management from 1999. Mark began his career at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in London in roles spanning Eurodollar bond trader, credit analyst and gilt sales from 1996.
Mark received an MA degree (Hons) in economics and a diploma in management studies, both from Cambridge University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has 28 years of financial industry experience.
