HONG KONG, 23 September 2026 – Janus Henderson Investors has entered a new multi-year partnership with HKU Sandy Bay RFC (Sandy Bay), becoming title sponsor of the club’s Senior, Mini and Youth sections. The sponsorship marks the start of a long-term relationship between Janus Henderson and one of Hong Kong’s leading rugby clubs.
For Janus Henderson, the partnership represents an opportunity to support an organisation that has become an important part of Hong Kong’s sporting landscape while reinforcing the firm’s commitment to the communities in which it operates.
Home to more than 1,000 players across its senior, youth and mini-rugby programmes, HKU Sandy Bay RFC operates one of the largest rugby communities in Hong Kong. The club competes at the highest level of senior rugby and regularly contributes players to Hong Kong, China representative teams. The partnership will support Sandy Bay’s Senior, Mini and Youth sections, helping the club continue to develop players from their first introduction to the game through to senior competition. It will also provide opportunities for community outreach, club activities and engagement with players, families and supporters throughout the season. It will also support the wider Sandy Bay community by helping the club continue to provide an environment where players can develop confidence, resilience, teamwork and leadership alongside their sporting ambitions.
