Our Responsibility Report brings together how we are continuing to embed Responsibility across our business and investment approach. It sets out the progress we are making to support long-term outcomes as we fulfil our purpose of “investing in a brighter future together.”

Our approach to Responsibility

Our policies and practices should reflect what we expect of our portfolio companies. At a corporate level, our behaviour can influence our people, our culture, and our choices, and we leverage our influence to deliver value responsibly to our clients, employees, and the wider community.

At an investment level, we integrate financially material ESG factors into our analysis and processes for most of our actively managed strategies, as appropriate, to help us identify opportunities and risks and drive the long-term value of the companies we invest in.

Many of Janus Henderson’s clients want to achieve their risk and return objectives using environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria. To meet these clients’ needs, we have developed, and continue to build, our suite of JHI Brighter Future Fund strategies, which have an ESG focus alongside the primary financial objective.

In an exciting move towards innovative collaboration, Janus Henderson is proud to partner with UC Berkeley Executive Education. We've launched a joint curriculum designed to empower our investment teams and, ultimately, a wider audience.
