John Baumgardner

John Baumgardner is a Portfolio Manager | Securitized Products Analyst on the Securitised Credit Team at Janus Henderson Investors. Prior to joining the firm in 2026, John held several roles at Värde Partners, most recently serving as a managing director from 2022, where he focused on investments across public and private markets in sectors including real estate, banking, fund finance, and securitised credit. He began his career in 2010 with Citigroup in investment banking.

John received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Notre Dame, graduating magna cum laude. He has 16 years of financial industry experience.
