Marc Pahlow
Head of Private Markets DACH
Marc Pahlow is Head of Private Markets DACH at Janus Henderson Investors. He joined the firm in 2026 following Janus Henderson’s acquisition of Rantum Capital. Marc co-founded Rantum in 2013 and was managing director. Before this, he was an investment professional in the European corporate private equity team at Carlyle, where he worked on large-cap and Mittelstand buyouts in the German-speaking region. Earlier, he gained experience in investment banking and strategy consulting at Goldman Sachs and McKinsey & Company.
Marc received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management – Koblenz and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a Kozmetsky Scholar. He has 16 years of financial industry experience.
