William Hancock

William Hancock is Senior Risk Manager for Janus Henderson Research Strategies. In his role as a member of the Portfolio Oversight Team for research products, William is responsible for reviewing portfolio risk and overseeing day-to-day operations of the research strategies. He also oversees the production of risk and performance analysis and works on product development via financial engineering. William serves as a member of the Janus Henderson Investment Performance and Risk Committee. He joined Janus in 1999 as an investor service representative and in 2000 became a portfolio information analyst in charge of producing mutual fund characteristics and portfolio attribution. In 2002, William was named Janus Employee of the Year. He has been a member of the risk management department since 2003.

William received his bachelor of science degree in finance from the University of Northern Colorado and his master of science in finance from the University of Colorado – Denver. He has 25 years of financial industry experience.
