We are committed to responsible business practices, managing and reducing our environmental impact, supporting our employees, and contributing to the communities where we operate.
Environment
We work to manage the environmental impacts of our operations, including operational greenhouse gas emissions and the environmental performance of certain offices we lease.
We have a long-standing history of involvement with sustainability-related organisations and initiatives. Through selected memberships and initiatives, we participate in industry discussions and engage on public-policy matters relevant to our business and clients. We will continue to participate and collaborate where we consider it appropriate and meaningful to do so.
We serve as a member or in an advisory capacity with carefully selected responsibility-related organisations and initiatives.

Aligning our community engagement with our overarching purpose, we actively contribute to the communities where we operate, through both local initiatives and our broader investment and corporate activities.
Education is a cornerstone of our community support, reflecting our belief in its power to unlock potential. The Janus Henderson Foundation, our firm’s philanthropic branch focused on empowering youth to reach their full potential via educational and financial literacy programs, supporting grassroots initiatives across our operational regions, and championing our employees’ charitable interests. To date, the Foundation has donated over $49 million worldwide, aided more than 1 million students through its educational grants, and supported 407 charities across the globe who were nominated and chosen by employees in our annual company-wide Janus Henderson Charity Challenge.
We continue to focus on a number of education programmes focused on developing fundamental math and literacy skills in children from less well-served communities and teacher development and talent pipeline initiatives. Improved education is an important step towards increased diversity in the investment community.
