Chris Castano

Chris Castano is a Managing Director, Alternative Institutional Sales at Janus Henderson Investors, a position he has held since 2026. In this role he is responsible for helping to set our alternatives investment distribution vision and strategy and working alongside key partners to help deliver alternative investment solutions to clients. Prior to joining the firm, he was head of sales and distribution at Sextant Capital Solutions from 2023 and managing director, business development – head of wealth at GCM Grosvenor from 2010. Before this he was managing director, head of business development at Sonar Capital from 2009 and held multiple managing director roles at Merrill Lynch from 2001.

Chris received a BA degree (Hons) in English and philosophy from Villanova University and a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law. He has 25 years of financial industry experience.
