Mohamed El Shafei is an Associate on the Emerging Market Private Investments Team, formerly NBK Capital Partners which Janus Henderson Investors acquired in 2024. Prior to joining NBK in 2022, Mohamed was an investment analyst at International Finance Corporation (IFC) where he worked on several credit transactions across manufacturing and services sectors in MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa. Earlier in his career, Mohamed worked with EFG Hermes and Arab African International Bank in Egypt from 2018.
Mohamed earned a Bachelor of Arts degree (Hons) in business administration from The American University in Cairo. He has 6 years of financial industry experience.
