Sarah de Lagarde

Sarah de Lagarde is the Brighter Future Strategist on the Responsibility Team at Janus Henderson Investors, a position she has held since 2025. In this role, she is responsible for building awareness for Janus Henderson services and products, including engaging with clients, collecting feedback, and developing new ways to enhance brand awareness and sales for the firm. Sarah represents Janus Henderson at industry and economic forums, participates in speaker events, and client meetings, to promote the firm’s offering. Prior to her current role, Sarah was global head of corporate affairs from 2023 and global head of communications from 2019. Additionally, Sarah is an author and guest lecturer at the London School of Economics and a mental health advocate. Previously, she held various roles within asset management companies such as JP Morgan, BMO, BNY Mellon and most recently Schroders. She is multi-lingual and multi-cultural and has made transformative global communications not just a mindset but a vocation.

Sarah has a master’s in international business from ESCP Business School, and a postgraduate degree in digital marketing communication from Cornell University. She has completed an executive leadership programme held by the University of California – Berkeley on Climate Change & Biodiversity and has 24 years of financial industry experience.
