David Schnautz is a Director, Specialist Sales, Germany & Austria at Janus Henderson Investors, a role he has held since joining the firm in 2026. Previously, he was a senior sales manager at Lampe Asset Management GmbH from 2023 to 2025, where he was responsible for launching active fixed income ETFs. David has held numerous buy-side and sell-side director sales and product specialist roles with BNP Paribas, Tabula and BlackRock. Before this, he was with Commerzbank AG from 2008 to 2017, most recently as a director in research and interest rate strategist. He began his career with WestLB as a fixed income research analyst in 2006

David received a Diplom-Kaufmann from the University of Giessen and an MA in economics from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. He has 20 years of financial industry experience
