Federico Pons is Managing Director, Country Head Italy at Janus Henderson Investors, a position he has held since 2017. In this role, he manages a local team and is responsible for business generated in Italy, including wholesale, private banking, retail, and institutional. Federico joined the Henderson in 2001 as head of sales. Prior to this, he was an account executive – institutional sales at Reuters from 2000. Before that, he held financial advisor roles at private credit institution Cassa Lombarda and at Programma Italia (a Fininvest branch).

Federico received a political science degree in administration from the University of Milan and a master of international economics and management from SDA Bocconi School of Management. He has 28 years of financial industry experience.
