Shakil Shah

Shakil Shah is a Client Portfolio Manager at Janus Henderson Investors, a position he has held since 2026. In this role he focuses on securitised markets, partnering with portfolio managers, distribution teams, and analysts to represent investment strategies and capabilities to internal and external stakeholders. Prior to joining the firm, he held several positions at Payden & Rygel Global Ltd., most recently in European CLO management from 2020 to 2024. Before that, he was a portfolio manager in the global fixed income team and a developed rates specialist from 2011, having also been part of the client reporting team from 2009.

Shakil received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Bath. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Shakil has 15 years of financial industry experience.
