Janus Henderson recently announced that, by mutual agreement, Glen Finegan, Head of Global Emerging Market Equities, will be leaving the firm to pursue other avenues within the asset management sector. Glen will remain at the firm full time until 18 April 2019 and then be on garden leave through October.
Responsible stewardship of client assets is our highest priority. Janus Henderson has agreed with the remaining four members of the Edinburgh-based Global Emerging Markets team that they will continue in their respective roles managing client assets until their departure on 30 November 2019. The team’s investment philosophy and process will remain unchanged during this time. The portfolio managers and their respective strategies following Glen’s departure can be found below.
We are actively pursuing various options for maintaining the Global Emerging Markets capability, including recruiting new talent to our team. We remain fully committed to the Emerging Markets asset class and look forward to sharing our plans for an updated capability with you over the coming months.
