US Head of Portfolio Construction and Strategy

Lara Castleton is US Head of Portfolio Construction and Strategy (PCS) at Janus Henderson Investors, a position she has held since 2023. In this role, she works to extend institutional and intermediary client engagement models to clients across the US. Lara joined the PCS team in 2019 as a portfolio strategist and was promoted to senior portfolio strategist in 2021. Lara joined the firm as a senior internal sales consultant for all Janus Henderson-related products and the Knowledge Labs® curriculum in 2016. Earlier in her career, she was an investment banking associate at Wells Fargo Securities and Piper Jaffray in Denver.

Lara received her bachelor of arts degree in mathematics from Boston College, graduating magna cum laude. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has 10 years of financial industry experience.
