Leah Reed

Leah Reed is a Financial Engineer, Diversified Alternatives at Janus Henderson Investors. In this role, she is responsible for the research and development of the Janus Henderson liquid alternatives platform, which she designed and built upon joining Janus in 2012. She is also responsible for portfolio construction and trading of systematic quantitative risk premia and liquid alternative strategies. Before Janus, Ms. Reed was a systems engineer from 2005 at Absolute Plus Management, where she conducted strategy and research implementation covering commodity, currency, fixed income and equity strategies. Earlier, she was a portfolio manager from 2003 for Bank of Hawaii Asset Management Group, where she managed and employed tactical asset allocation strategies for the bank’s largest institutional clients.

Ms. Reed received both her bachelor of science degree in business administration with a concentration in finance and her MBA from the University of the Pacific. She has 0 years of financial industry experience.
