Mike Laughlin, CFA, FRM

Mike Laughlin is an Executive Director, ETF Client Product Specialist with the Specialist Consulting Group at Janus Henderson Investors. In this role, he serves as a subject matter expert on all JHI ETFs educating clients on structure, design, and the underlying strategy driving returns, and maintaining strong relationships with sophisticated institutional and wealth clients functioning as a product, portfolio construction, and capital markets consultant. He works closely with ETF Specialists to ensure cohesive and strategic client engagement. Prior to joining the firm, he was head of product strategy team at Morningstar from 2023. Before that, Mike held various roles at Blackrock for 12 years, including investment management associate, portfolio consulting manager, and most recently as director, head of model engagement team from 2022.

Mike received a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management with a minor in economics from Gettysburg College. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, 65, and 24 securities licenses and the Financial Risk Manager® (FRM) and Chartered Financial Analyst designations. He has 14 years of financial industry experience.
