Russ Shipman

Russ Shipman is Head of Retirement Sales & Strategy at Janus Henderson Investors, serves as Global Head of the firm’s Strategic Account Program and oversees the U.S. Direct Business Channel. Prior to moving to the Institutional group in 1993, Russ was vice president of operations with oversight of all retail and institutional transfer agency customer service functions. His background includes experience in equity trading, securities underwriting and retail sales at a regional broker/dealer. Russ joined Janus in 1990.

Russ received a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in marketing from Metropolitan State University of Denver and is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, 65, and 24 securities licenses and has 35 years of financial industry experience.
