We offer separate strategies in Global, European and UK bonds investing primarily in investment grade corporate bonds and other fixed and floating rate securities. All three strategies target both income and growth.
The strategies are managed by a talented team that brings different skillsets to the portfolios’ management, from macroeconomic and technical analysis to isolating key bond characteristics. The global strategy (run by James Briggs) invests predominantly in developed market investment grade corporate bonds, the European strategy (run by Tom Ross and Tim Winstone) in EUR-denominated investment grade corporate bonds and the UK strategy (run by Phil Payne) in GBP-denominated investment grade corporate bonds.
In addition, the strategies benefit from some flexibility to invest away from their core markets as well as employing credit default swaps to express both long and short credit views and actively using interest rate duration to enhance returns.
