US Small Cap Growth

The US Small Cap Growth strategy seeks long term capital appreciation by investing stocks of small capitalisation companies.

The market cap range for stocks in this strategy is generally $250 million to $2 billion at the time of purchase. The strategy has historically outperformed its benchmark (Russell 2000 Growth Index) during broad based bull and bear markets. Typically, positions enter the portfolio at a 1% position size and will never be more than 2% at cost. This limit of 2% is used as a risk mitigation tool and helps protect client capital. The number of holdings in the strategy ranges between 50-60 stocks. This range allows the strategy to maximise returns while providing industry diversification to minimise risk.
